i like the mattress at least as much as my last traditional innerspring, but I'd be hard-pressed to recommend it to anyone with bad joints. I'm an otherwise healthy person (relatively lean, good heart health, etc.), but I have a bad elbow (doctor diagnosed it as "golfer's elbow") and sleeping on my side all night with my shoulder pressed into the mattress definitely flares up my elbow pain. It's not any worse in this regard to my last mattress, but it's not any better, either. I was hoping it would be a little softer to accommodate my bum elbow.
WE have slept comfortably since the first night we had our mattress. The price was right (and we bought two) and the product is amazing. Set up was easy, except for the necessary weight of the queen mattress. We are totally satisfied with our Tuft and Needle mattress.
I bought this for my son. I was very apprehensive about it. It felt very soft at first, but about 24 hours later it felt great. Firmed up a bit. While I have not slept a night on it, I have laid on it for a nap and it was extremely comfortable. We may buy a king size for ourselves.
