Years later, I hate this mattress.

The first six months of this mattress were great. Beyond that, I can't stand this mattress. It is by far the hottest bed I've ever slept on, and offers little to no support for my back. Both my husband and I have started alternating sleeping on the floor, just so that our backs feel better. No matter what position I lay in, I end up nearly in tears each time I wake up to switch to a new position (which I might add is SO often in this mattress, at minimum 5 times a night).
I would never recommend this mattress to a friend. This mattress has made aweful spring mattresses in hotels feel nice, its truly that bad in my experience, and my husband agrees.
Some background info on me, I'm in my mid 20s, 175 lbs, female. We did buy this mattress around 2 years ago, so this was before they offered the mint. Who knows, maybe the technology has changed, but as I lay here, unable to sleep, I thought I would finally leave a review because every night when I lay on this bed I wish I would've gone with a different one.
I would never recommend this mattress to a friend. This mattress has made aweful spring mattresses in hotels feel nice, its truly that bad in my experience, and my husband agrees.

AVOID it all costs

After having this mattress, all I can say is avoid it at all costs!! If you like sinking/drowning in a mattress that will do absolute damage to your back, get this mattress. Absolutely no support and will leave you in complete pain.

No longevity

We bought this mattress 3 years ago when we moved into our new home and were really happy with it right from the get going. Fast forward to now and the mattress is completely and utterly shot. It offers zero support, it tips us off the side of the bed, it’s a nightmare. And of course we are in a situation where we can’t just get a new mattress after such a short amount of time. My husband and I are not large people, and this mattress has not held up at all. We are so disappointed, we wake up after terrible nights sleep in pain, we are stuck and it’s just a huge shame.

I like it! This is my second mattress and I forgot it really takes a good month to break it in so my first couple of week nights were not the best (but seriously not the worse!) Just giving you a heads up because we almost returned our first one after the second week and then... MAGIC. So comfortable!

Second time purchasing, seems like different mattress

My first tuft and needle mattress I purchased in 2017 and my husband and I love it still. The second mattress we purchased in Jan 2020 is not holding up so well. It feels a lot different than our original and is caving in in the middle. I’m not sure what’s different, they were both king size and the original mattress. I’m waking up a lot at night to rearrange because I’m uncomfortable. The original mattress is in our camper and got constant use for 2 years and never showed any signs like the new mattress. Pretty disappointed.

Was good, but now waking up with so much back pain.

I bough mine at the end of 2019, and it was initially great, but after 5-6 months the lower back pain started and gradually became worse. I didn’t suspect the mattress at first, but after returning from an extended vacation, the back pain returned so I knew it was my mattress. It’s now so painful at night the minute I lay down on it it hurts. I’ve been sleeping on my camping mat until I find a mattress locally. Needles to say I am very disappointed.

I would not recommend this mattress to anyone unless they like an extremely firm mattress (like you're sleeping on the ground firm). I appreciated the fast delivery and good price of this mattress but after sleeping on it for a little over a month I wish I would've bought something else. I am a healthy female in my 20s and this mattress actually gave me back pain. You also definitely need to buy this mattress with time to let it air out in a room with windows as well because the off gasing is pretty intense. I read plenty of reviews before deciding on this purchase and there are varied experiences with this mattress so if you like a really firm mattress then this is the one for you, but for myself it doesn't work well.
