Not the Little Mermaid I Grew up with

Why change a good thing? This set is a flop. I grew up with the original Little Mermaid. Why is Ariel and her sister of different colors? Sebastian is a blob and the fish isn’t even flounder.
The box says ages 16 and up but the website says 18 . Majority of the build is on the clam shell only 2 steps were for the sunken ship.
Sooo I spent another 30 bucks for the proper Ariel a better Sebastian and I also changed the fish to flounder

We’ve reflected their likeness in our set because building a diverse and inclusive play culture is important to us. This set was fun to build and incorporated many colors and details from the movie! The back isn’t finished, but it is unnoticeable as a display piece.
