The Little Mermaid 🧜🏻♀️ is my favorite Disney movie and this set was SO much fun to build!!! It was big and had lots of steps and pieces, has 3D Steps in the Legos App and is beautiful once assembled! I highly recommend to anyone who likes this set!

With the amount of missing pieces over 40 in 1 bag which I refuse to check the others..insane how much it cost for so much to be missing..

I loved the design so I bought on the last insider weekend event. It has soo many pieces missing from different bags I’m done I can’t even complete it I’m at 5 pieces missing if not more I’m not even in bag 12 I feel like this was the reason it was on sale.

The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney film and I even thoroughly enjoyed the live action remake this set is based on. This was a gift and I love it so much! It's the hardest set I've built so far with the most packaged sets and the most moving pieces. It's so pretty and colorful. I'm so excited to add it to my collection!

I loved building this set! It is so fun and colorful, and I enjoyed watching the movie while building it! The Little Mermaid was my favorite growing up, and I applaud Lego for creating a diverse set to match the live action movie. This set is beautiful and one of my favorites I've built!

LAck of Stability and Playability

The Little Mermaid Royal Clamshell set fell short of expectations and was not enjoyable for an older LEGO build. The overall design lacked creativity, and the assembly process felt tedious due to an excessive use of repetitive pieces that appeared hastily put together. While the sailship and Ursula's cave were somewhat satisfactory, the remainder of the set did not meet the mark.
Unfortunately, the set offered minimal playability and seemed more geared towards display rather than interactive play. This was particularly disappointing for my daughter, who had eagerly awaited its release. Moreover, the absence of an actual Flounder character and the substitution of a standard red crab from another set were notable drawbacks that diminished its appeal.
As someone who has enthusiastically constructed sets like the Millennium Falcon UCS and assisted my children with various builds, I had anticipated a higher standard from LEGO. It pains me to write a negative review for a brand that holds a special place for me and my family. However, I believe LEGO missed the opportunity to deliver a more engaging and imaginative experience with this set.

The techniques used in this set were awesome. I absolutely loved how three-dimensional the build was; it never felt like I was solely building 'upward.' I was building up, out, around, diagonally, and it was really cool to see the different tricks used to do that.
