Better than nothing.

Cool but missing so much. The first thing that strikes me is the relatively small ship with a big price. No pods, doors are wrong, stud shooters, scale is off, and missing many key features of the gunship that would have been simple to add like the missiles for the top, double-doors, and so on. I would have preferred a normal looking, play scale, w/ good detail, gunship.
The figures are okay. Haven’t seen Padme and Palp for awhile. Not a fan of the holes in the troopers helmets. They look very odd and always catch my eye in a bad way.
This is okay. It just lacks so many of the things that make a gunship awesome like accurate features, sizing, and a reasonable cost.
The last version was far superior and cost less when adjusted for today. It’s definitely difficult to find true value in the cost of Lego the last few years. It’s always less for higher cost now and this is the most profitable toy company in the world. You would think fair-value would enter the picture somewhere but unfortunately not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was a good build but a little pricey for just a 1,000 pieces. Over all I liked it and it looks great in my collection of 50 or more sets.

Lego? what happened!? there's not enough proper head room for troopers inside the main hold when doors are shut along with the rear landing door. Yes the Gunship is smaller than the previous one from 2013 however that's not the main concern. The doors do not sit flush with the "compartment" section under the cockpits. plus there's hardly any open room when the doors are fully open to display clones. very small for minifigure scale playability.

I really was looking forward to this set because of the Commander Fox minifigure. Was disappointed by this set because the printing on my Commander Fox minifigure has errors on the helmet and legs. This is very disappointing because the figure was not advertised with these errors present! I expected so much more from Lego!

This set needs more pieces and needs better modeling on the ship. Also the commander fox minifigure should have printing on its arms. There should be 7 minifigures not five.
