Commander fox is pink

Well I saved up for This set and it was kind of a disappointment. Commander fox is pink under a certain light. The shock troopers are cool. The gunship itself is pretty nice for display, I don’t understand the door though because one opens sideways and the other is up and down.

The set is held together with glue and popsicle sticks, it falls apart so easily and has almost no space for anything inside, doesn’t have ball turrets in the wings, misprinted commander fox every time, false advertisement on the box, and so much more. AND THE PRICE is insane for it. This is outrageous

The gunship colors are great, but it really is lacking in its design. I am very disapointed that this design doesn't have ball turrets on the wings as a gunship normally does. Not onlt that, but the gunship is smaller compared to models previously. This leads to the carvo area being crampt and unable to hold many clones as it should. The worst part of the set has to be the minifigures. Commander Fox is a disaster. The printing is all wrong and the color almost looks pink. I am very sad that lego didn't put effort into making sure the details of this figure were accurate.

This set not only costs more than it should, when compared to previous designs, this is a downgrade, it seems like designers who worked on this just gave up at some point and slapped a random price on it. This is quite disappointing

Fantastic Clone Wars Set

I’ll start first by saying that I’m a little biased. I have always been a fan of the coruscant guard ever since seeing them in TCW. And it fits perfectly with my few little Empire/Republic sets that I have. But onto the build! This thing is built to last, part of the fun was seeing how they absolutely lock each part of the ship together, this set is not coming apart. Also the handle, which I admit I thought was a little dumb at first, is absolutely perfect to not only help build but to actually swing it around. I really enjoyed building this one and it displays so wonderfully, the red is absolutely crisp. I would absolutely pick up this set. Only downside to it is it is a smidge on the expensive side for everything you get, but that’s honestly the only negative. If you have any prequel or republic love you need this set.

How do you make an inacurate Commander fox?

The build is quite nice, though it pales in comparison to previous gunships, I do appreciate the smaller size, however some of the compromises that came with that are hard to justify. But I could care less about the entire build, becuase at the end of the day, it is recognizeably a gunship. What I can't understand is how a multi BILLION dollar company couldn't google what Commander Fox looks like. His armor is literrally opposite a regular shock trooper. I can't believe someone at lego looked at the minifigure and said "looks fine to me". Granted, one could argue it's just an insignificant little detail, but imagine if someone tried replicating a countries flag and misplaced the colors on the flag. Crazy.

Bang for your buck

For what you pay for the final build really is a lot smaller than what would be expected for the price tag. The fox minifig isn’t accurate and why haven’t we gotten cloth waist capes yet? After waiting years for a gunship I’m so sad with what the final result was compared to the ones released prior. Hoping ones to come in the future are gonna be the same size as the one before this with better minifigure selection.
