Quality issues

Overall I like the gunship although it's very lacking in interior space and extra functions. My biggest complaint is that Commander Fox is pink. the torso print for the mini figure came out pink. it doesn't match with the legs at all because of this. And the helmet holes on the regular shock trooper make the shape of the helmet and the print always seem slightly off to me. I miss
the old P2 helmets that didn't have the holes.

A blast from the past!

Missed out on the opportunity for a Republic Gunship years ago. I went ahead and ordered this set to fulfill my childhood. The design is smaller than past sets, but it will still satisfy a lot of customers. Do not pass this one up!

Solid with Some Shortcomings

The ship is sturdy and quite hefty as a playset. The dark red, white, and grey colors add a nice pop to the overall design. Although I never owned a previous iteration of the gunship, I completely agree with the other reviewers about the lack of cargo space to hold more troopers and the inaccurate design such as how the doors open, the sparse front cargo area, the gun turrets sitting on the wings, and the printing on Commander Fox. All of which hurts the authenticity of the set. However, children may not care because they want a solid playset to "swoosh" around.

Disappointed

Bought this as the gunship has always been one of my favorite ships in star wars. But this was disappointing compared to the older one I had as a kid. The size is much smaller and is a lot more expensive then the previous version it also has way less playable features then the older one. The minifigures are all cool but for the same price as last year's lego ATTE the amount of minifigures is far greater for the same price in the ATTE. If this was closer to 100 and not 140 I would of liked this alot more but the size and minifugure amount is very disappointing for the price. I would recommend anyone looking at getting there kids a big lego star wars set this holiday season to go for the ATTE instead due to the higher minifigure amount(especially if they like clone troopers) and more playability that sets has compare to this set.

Great Set!

I really enjoyed building this set, as it is my first gunship. While I’m not too impressed with the lack of quality with Commander Fox and the lack of included builds to fit inside the gunship, I’m overall satisfied with it. I even decided to modify the speeder bike and the turret of the Clone Trooper vs Battle Droids Battle Pack and these two builds were able to be placed in the gunship.

Good not Great

Kind of disappointed that the gunship doesn’t have two sliding bay doors on each side like past models of the gunship or much room to fit minifigures in the bay. I understand with a smaller build that it makes those things more difficult to accomplish. I do appreciate the Coruscant red color scheme it looks really nice and the build is good. As far as minifigures go I wish that Commander Fox’s chest print was show accurate and that you guys would go back to giving clone commanders cloth kamas again. The holes on the side of the clone helmets are inaccurately placed as I’m sure you know. I wish you guys would fix that, it looks odd. I’d give it an 8.5/10 overall. Could be better.

The republic gunship is my absolute favorite star wars ship, and was very excited to here about this one because it was a twist on my favorite ship, yet this ended up being a disappointment. Commander fox is red with pink because it looks like there wasn't even enough paint used to cover the red. This is also absolutely tiny you can barely even get counted to fit in the gunship the interior cabin is so small, and if you want to fit more than 2 clones in you have to pop off the wings to get them to fit and even then fitting 6 is tight, could easily get 10+ in all the others. It's an absolute dwarf of a set, and we lost a lot of fun features. The underneath of the cockpits has always had a fun play feature, with ball guns, (or in the show some have spotlights) and the back ramp is absolutely tiny, if you opt for no clones and try and force a speeder like the old ones had, it might fit, if you're lucky.

Excellent build

The build on this set is perfect for intermediate builders like myself. I have built 4 UCS and the coliseum but still consider myself an intermediate. Love the colors and very durable set. Something all Star Wars fans can enjoy.
