Figures and the lack of their attention to detail

Over all this Gunship looks nice. I love the idea of getting a different style/colored variation. This version is definitely scaled down compared to its past iterations. I’m Not the biggest fan of scaled down ships, especially when they’re more expensive than the previous versions. My biggest complaint is the figs. Yes the selection is great but they range in quality. Padme is an important character in Star Wars and uses a recycled face print. Not to mention its from a character thats in the SAME UNIVERSE. They have a perfectly good design from 2013 and the video game that truly represents the character features in a Lego form… Im not getting into the Clones. We all have said enough about the ugly weird shaped helmets and holes. My biggest issue with current Lego Star Wars is the lack of attention to detail on these modern mini figs.

Feel like the large wings and the thin hull are disproportionate. My opinion... could be wrong.

A few downsides that could be fixed

The biggest problem with the build itself is the doors not opening all the way/how they should according to the modeled vehicle. Commander Fox doesn't look great either because his chest plate looks pink instead of white and him not having a cloth waistcape. Overall though I think it's a great set.

The commander Fox should have been a more accurate color but I like the set considering it is the first themed gun guard ship we have gotten, overall I like the set

This was a great build. The UCS was probably my favorite build, but it Is very large it takes up a lot of room in my office. This is the perfect size to fit on a shelf and display. Looks good, solid build, solid buy on May the 4th!!!
