Small but mighty

This version of the Republic Gunship may have only occurred in one Clone Wars episode, but it is still great that Lego made it. The only things that are not great about this set is the Commander Fox torso that is printed wrong, the sliding doors are supposed to slit into two ways, and the build is the smallest minifig scale version there is. However, the build is strong and the other characters are great with the set. Great job with the design with the red and white lines on the doors.
The things I think would have made this set better is to have a new Phase 2 Clone pilot (even if it meant the we'd get only 1 shock trooper instead of 2). As for the wings, having the bubble turrets would look way better then the stud shooters. Just my opinion of course. :)

I love the carry handle design and opening bay doors, these features will make playing with this Lego more realistic and fun. I do wish LEGO went back to making more printed pieces I would have loved to see a piece with the printed galactic republic logo.

Cool but lacking

This set is a cool gunship with a few bad parts. First, and most importantly to me, Commander Fox is horrible. His chest armor continues to be white on the stomach area when it is not in the movies, his knee pads are white instead of red, and his helmet is misprinted. Also, the gunship is quite small and has little fig space. There are ugly stud shooters on the wings instead of ball turrets, the compartment under the cockpits is useless, and the rear gun is small and sad. The Coruscant Guard troopers are cool, and Padme is great, as is Palpatine, but I just have to say how disappointed I am that Lego has not modified their blasters at all since changing them from megaphones. Most “blasters” look nothing like any seen in the movies or many series.
