Honestly this set is a miss, while the concept was a good idea the execution was not the best. The build experience is very boring and repetitive. Not an enjoyable set to build at all! Also, Chewbacca's face gives early Lego 2000's vibes with how bad it looks! 2/10; would not recommend :(

There are 3 missing parts. Very Frustrating! then the Blue lego on the LEFT shoulder top but can be seen behind the arm, BLUE? lastly under the nose is not attached very well or supported and comes loose and falls out. this is not my favorite. I will have to wait for parts to come.

Excellent Build

I thoroughly enjoyed this build. The head looks a bit weird, but the build was enjoyable and not difficult. It reminded me of the R2D2 build with a similar number of pieces. Once built, it doesn't really move, so it's more of a decorative piece for a collector. I definitely recommend it.

Don’t buy it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The build quality is terrible, pieces of mine broke and it just overall doesn’t fit together well. The feet are not deep enough and the legs have to much on them for them to fit.

This guy seems to get a bad rap, but Chewbacca is an excellent built and great design. The face looks fine to me and the body arms and legs are fantastic. I’m impressed and super happy I picked up this set for my collection. He fits perfectly with the 25th anniversary R2 build.

Better than I thought.

I received Chewy as a gift from my wife, and I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. However, after putting it together, I have grown kinda fond of the set. It still has the same flaws that make me wish it was better, but it is endearing. I put it on my desk, and my students all comment on it.
