Great set, different shades of brown will test you

This is a great set, and the completed model looks terrific. However, be warned: the different shades of brown will definitely test your eyesight and attention span!

I’ve always wondered if LEGO would ever recreate Chewbacca as a LEGO! My collection started with Star Wars sets and I just knew I had to get this one as soon as it came out! (Took me a little while as we know the hobby can be quite costly 😅) but so much worth it! It’s an iconic piece and it is so awesome to have in my collection!

As a huge Star Wars fan and Chewie fan, this set was a must for me. The build was a lot of fun, though a little repetitive when working on the body, but the end result is totally worth it. Chewbacca looks amazing once completed, with great attention to detail, from his signature bandolier to his textured fur. He’s a perfect addition to any Star Wars collection. Highly recommend this one!!!

I was gifted this for Christmas and it is an amazing set. It was hard to put it down and spread it over a few days rather than sit down and grind it out. It is towering and the best piece in my Star Wars set. I love all the outer layer pieces looking like tufts of fur going in different directions.
Only 2 complaints I had about this piece is that the satchel could have had 1 more link in length. I had to finagle it to get it to clear the shoulder and right arm and sit properly on his hip.
And my other complaint is that if I remember correctly, his entire nose and upper lip is held on by a single stud tucked into the back of his face to where it feels delicate and I'm afraid if it ever pops off, it'll be very difficult to get back on.

Me being a collector of starwars lego i want all the sets. But personally I couldn’t justify the price for the look of this set.. I honestly wasn’t a fan. But, Lego recently marked this set down 40% off for Christmas and I couldn’t resist. Now that I have it, I’m completely satisfied . Having getting it for such a good price and how great it will look with R2 and c3po. It’s just a must have now .

One of My Favorite Sets

I've seen a lot of backlash about this set online and though I can get behind some of the opinions. Especially the lack of something in the back(if you know what I mean), like Lego statues of Chewbacca have had in the past. Chewbacca is one of my favorite Star Wars characters and I love how he was represented in this set. The designer of this set did a great job at making him look nice and hairy and I had a great time building it.
