Best adult modular-type set (so far)!
on February 6, 2023

This is one of the best sets that's ever been put out by LEGO. The little details throughout are simply amazing and add to a really enjoyable build and visual fun as you explore all the nuances. All of the modulars do a nice job on the details and play/fun aspect, but this one is a step above. Two minor suggestions for the design team - the outdoor toilet paper roll is hilarious, but a newly molded smooth piece would have been fabulous versus the old-school car door. And, using black connectors within the trees wouldn't have been as great as all brown. Small things, really. For other buyers, I was on the fence at first but am thrilled I got it and got to build it, so get one!

Extremely enjoyable

This has been one of my favorite sets to build. Building it has been really enjoyable and there is so many different components and little details. My favorite piece has to be the left side piece with the wooden logs. Great use of different Lego pieces.

Great set! The roof is hard to build but the rest is easy. It does need a bear.

It's all about the beaver

You had me at the beaver. Seriously. We had built him a dam before he even arrived. But why only one beaver? Can you please put more in pick-a-brick? The cabin was just icing on the cake. Very well executed. We were hesitant to add it to our National Park, fearing it was out of scale with all the 80's trees, but sometimes you have to relax your standards for the greater good.

Every little detail made me smile, as did the techniques behind them. One of my favorite builds in a long time. I especially love the hidden 🐸 and acorn and the stunning foliage. Very nice to separate out the attach pieces for their own scene. I just love it!

Impressive with a major You Got to Kidding Me!

There is so much design and off-the-grid comforts, as I continued building, I found myself continuously thinking, “I want to move here, or at least make this my vacation home”. I believe that this is the first time that a designer has created a bed wide enough for two MiniFigs (Full or Queen, rather than single or double). You really have to look closely at all the furniture pieces before you draw back to look at the woody exterior of the cabin, which by the way, is very convincing. And the colors of the trees! Some of best tree designs applied to any LEGO project. After all these accolodes, it would be difficult to imagine that the designers failed with a “you got to kidding me!” Design of the roof connections. Their solution: You build two disconnected panels, hang them separately from the top and hope they dont slip and fall. If you believe that then there’s African prince with 20million USD to give you if just send them you bank account information. Anyways, There are many inexpensive methods to connect the two panels so that they operate the way we all throught they would. In my photo stream, I show one cheap method that works OK. All in all, great set, I’m already packing
