Exactly what I was hoping for

The level of detail, use of creative building techniques, and sturdy construction impressed me in ways I wasn't expecting. It's evident that a significant amount of thought and effort went into crafting this amazing cabin, and the result speaks for itself.

In really enjoyed this build, and the way the two sides come off was clever. I added technic pins to help secure the side attachments, but otherwise great set!

It was a little smaller than I expected but over all it's a great set. Really detailed and it has a full interior with a kitchen, fire pit, a bedroom, and an outside shower.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nostalgia and Clever Building in One Package

I absolutely loved building this set and placing it on display in my home. First, I love the building process where you can give one instruction booklet to yourself and another to someone else who may want to build with you especially if it's their first time. I love the variety of flora and fauna you build and the multi-usage you can get out of it by placing the cabin on its own and the trees together or combine them. I also really love how open ended the lego minifigures with the set are. You can mix and match hair pieces, heads, bodies, and torsos to make the characters as you'd like. The amount of props and little items you build inside the cabin also provides multiple possibilities of what you could do with the setting. If you have never purchase a Lego Ideas set or not sure if the price tag is worth it, I guarantee this will be one of the best Lego sets you will purchase.

First, I highly recommend this set. It is an exceptional build experience with a staggering amount of detail. Also, not a single sticker! I have lived off-grid in small cabins and the unique characteristics of that are really well captured in this set.
My only neutral response is in the minifigs. They work well enough, hug somehow feel only partly integrated into the story as developed with the details of the build. Still, this is easily one of my favorite sets, in competition with Rivendell.

Beautifully Designed

I highly recommend this set! Each step of the build was thoroughly enjoyable. It's packed with interesting techniques and parts. The cabin has many trinkets that one would find in a cabin in the forest. The touch of the rocky landscape adds to the mountain feel. And surrounding the cabin with colorful, airy tees takes it to the next level. It's a beautiful addition to my collection, I'm so happy to have it! And it pairs well with the Land Rover.
