It’s not that great

I found it very frustrating, The side panels do not stay on what so ever and when they fall off it takes 30 minutes to put them back on, also when they do they leave behind the part which clicks in leaving for a very inconvenient repair and it’s annoying and it’s frustrating to the point where I’m gonna have to take it apart and make my own connection to make it better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A solid set

This is a good set with little to no flaws. The only problem I see is the fact that there is no landing gear but it’s not like you would use it because of the included stand.

I love all things stars wars and was so excited for this set. I am now left dissappointed as I feel the construction quality is very poor. It is very flimsy and panels tend to fall off if handled at all. Unless you plan to build this set and never move it (once you can get it together without panels falling off) I would recommend to skip this one.

Better looking in person

As long as you order the extra stand pieces you need before you receive the set the build process and display process goes very well. My canopy also came in a plastic bag so also glad lego updated that. Excellent model, the body is sturdy just be careful around the engine areas. The only problem with this set is the stand issue that lego will happily fix. 5/5 set looks great.

Looks Good Not Minifig compliant

The overall build was nonetheless moderate. Once I built the cockpit (chuckles up); I knew the minifigs weren’t compliant. The fact that they made a spot for the astromech droid is also a joke. The best build so far for me is th Y-Wing UCS, & Slave One UCS

Such fun

This was a fun build. I grew up on Star Wars IV-VI and it was like having a piece of Luke Skywalker with me as I built it. Very nostalgic. Had to take it down for the holidays but looking forward to building it again and putting it with my Millennium Falcon for display.

Fragile

I'm a huge Star Wars fan and LOVE the stories about the x-wings. I was so excited to get this home, but I'm just so disappointed.
It is beautiful, but really fragile and falling apart all the time I touch it. The stander gives the wrong view and does not show it in a good way. Cause of that I have changed the stander, but still not good, but better wiev. If I could get my money back I would do it. Not worth the money.
