Difficult

Indicator lights are too small, difficult to read.
Instructions for operating are convoluted. There must be a simpler design to operate an air conditioning unit!

So good we bought a second one!

But summer especially in South Texas made it impossible to be in our garage for more then a few minutes! After researching our options, I decided on the 8,000 BTU Frigidaire AC/Heating model. This unit was easy to install and made an instant positive difference. In fact, we were so impressed, we bought a second unit for the same garage to put in the other window. Now the sun can bake and the freezing winds can blow but our garage stays at just the right temperature all year round. And they are pretty energy efficient as well. Choosing these units was an excellent decision to go with an excellent product!

Right size for the task

Would like better insulation between unit and window.

Missed the mark

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second air conditioner. Frigidaire missed the mark on this newer model. The vents do not move up and down, only sideways.So it is hard to position the air flow as needed. The lights showing settings are so TINY you cannot see them unless it is totally dark. We need to see settings, such as lo-med-high in the day time too. The remote is actually an upgrade from the older model. Great size and easy to ready.The unit cools and heats well.
