great functional unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This combo AC/Heater unit is an easy to use, and easy to handle, solution to maintaining room temperature when a main-source heat and air solution is not accessible. The unit is not real heavy, so is easy to get in and out of the siding cutout where it resides in our house. It is in our patio room where our dogs spend much of their day when it is cold or hot outside. The AC function is more than adequate to cool the 260 sq ft room. The heating function is adequate for most "normal" winter days. It needs some other help when temps stay below 30 with no sun. But it does enough to keep the dogs comfy and the plants in the room alive. It would be an ideal machine if the heater was a bit more forceful. But it is a very good unit.

I brought an a/c on June 14 2022 and it doesn’t work.Come on and goes off and stay off.Paid all that money and this is what I get.I’m very disappointed.

Outstanding performance on Economy Settings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently installed an 8000Btu window air conditioner in the wall of our back porch. It handles the air conditioning needs during the summer heat on the economy settings and it would appear like the heating unit is large enough what heat we will be needing for this winter. We are very happy with the performance of the unit.

Very low heat output

Easy installation, all parts were included. AC works well, however the heat output is very low. With the heat function on, the air coming from the unit does not feel much warmer than just having the fan on. with the unit running heat for 2 hours, the room temp only increased by 7 degrees. Disappointed as i already had a window AC unit, this was purchased to provide heat to a room and get rid of a space heater that was on the floor.

We purchased two of these for our hunting camp. If you need heat for the winter do NOT by this. They blow cold air. I write this as I sit here in 20 degree weather freezing, I am very disappointed!!! Great a/c.

Great heater/ac unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this heater/ac unit for my dogs house. I love it because on its lowest temp setting it keeps the dog house toasty warm and cuts off when it gets to the desired temp. My last one didn’t have this option and would just continuously run and it would get way to hot for the dogs in the dog house. I would definitely recommend, it’s perfect for the 8x8 building.
