My experience with the 50 pint dehumidifier with built in pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our third Fridgidare 50 pint dehumidifier with pump. These machines have been an excellent addition to our household. Our cellar is field stone and we live in a rocky area. The cellar tends to get damp and would be unusable without the dehumidifier working so we opted to buy the additional warrantee years. The dehumidifier is required to operate daily. We have experienced few operational issues but when we
did Frigidaire honored the warrantee on our unit without problems. We have since purchased other Frigidaire appliances due to the companies equipment
performance and custmer service.

Easy to set up dehumidifier with pump

Does Everything It's Supposed To Do

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the three fan speeds, the humidity level choices and the pump option, I'm able to set it and forget it. My basement living space can get humid in the summer. This unit keeps that in check, and I don't have to empty the bucket. The pump and long tube allow me to drain it into a nearby sink so I can travel without returning to a damp smelling basement.

My new dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are enjoying our new Frigidaire humidifier. It is well-designed and compact and runs smoothly and quietly. We were particularly interested in the self-draining feature, which, with the help of a capable plumber, seems to be working well. I do wonder if it is supposed to be running continuously, as I wonder if that will damage the pump engine or shorten its life? Any thoughts would be appreciated. For now, we turn it off when we have low humidity conditions. Thanks.

Disappointed

Season 1: The unit ran fine.
Season 2: The unit started icing up so I put the unit on a timer that turned it on for 30 mins and then off for 30 mins to allow the frost to melt.
Season 3: The compressor will not turn on and there are no error codes. Scrap.
