So far so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the unfortunate experience of having to replace defective Frigidaire dehumidifiers for the past 10 years or more. To their credit, the Frigidaire/Electrolux company was always accommodating when it came to shipping me a new unit. It also helped that I paid extra for the extended protection plan. Nevertheless, this latest model, which is a 50-pint unit instead of the 70-pint units that I had always used before, has been working flawlessly since I set it up and turned it on earlier this spring when the weather was starting to warm and the humidity was starting to be felt. I connected a hose for continuous drainage and ran it nonstop as instructed for the first couple of days. After that, I set the humidity level to 45% and monitored the operation closely to make sure it turned off when not needed. As indicated in the title of this review, so far so good. This dehumidifier runs quietly and effectively, and I am very pleased up to this point. Only time will tell, though, regarding its longetivity. I am cautiously optimistic. In conclusion, I recommend this Frigidaire dehumidifier.

Exceeded My Expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have a 3000 sq ft home ranch house, with a basement of the same size. My old dehumidifier went out so I ordered the Frigidaire 50 pint Dehumidifier. With 24 hours of installation, the humidity was brought down to acceptable levels around 45%. I set up it up for 35% humidity and within a couple of days we were there. So I am very happy with this new equipment and would highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our original dehumidifier stopped working after 4 years. It was still under warranty, so we received a complimentary replacement dehumidifier. The process was smooth. The replacement dehumidifier is working very well. I'm an extremely satisfied customer, who will continue to purchase Frigidaire products.

Very effective and easy to use
