Auto Pump is Great

Workhorse with all the options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Live in high humidity area, this unit takes the humidity level to mid-low 40’s in a 1700 sq ft condo. Has all the options - portable, humidity settings, timer, fan speed, gravity or pump drainage, or bucket collection for water. The bucket is large enough to last an entire day before emptying.

A Basement Necessity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a cool, dark, and damp basement like I do, I highly recommend this dehumidifier. After 24 hours of use I immediately noticed how much more comfortable and drier the air felt. Set up is simple and the automatic pump feature is a no brainer with simple attachment from the appliance to your basement drain or sink basin. If mold and/or dampness is an issue in your home then this dehumidifier is just for you!

So far so good, well, excellent, actually

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had this dehumidifer for a very short while, but am amazed at the amount of water it removes from the air. Have it in the basement and it removes more than 2 gallons of water every 10 hours or so. Still trying to stabilize the humidity, running in continuous mode for 3 or 4 days per the instructions (am on day 4) and haven't yet started using the pump, which is actually the reason for purchasing this model. Clearly making a huge difference: no more sweating on the pressure tank for the well water, and the previously damp concrete floor underneath is now dry. Fairly quiet even on high. Very solid and well-built. Am hopeful it lasts a long time and the pump feature works to get the water up and out of the basement (no floor drains, so have to pump up and out a washer drain about 6 feet off the floor).

Humidifier works great, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The built in pump has not worked yet. I have the clear plastic drain tube inserted per the instructions, and it is secured. When I press the pump button on top of the unit, nothing happens, and the light does not illuminate. I've had to empty the container by hand so far. Was I shipped a unit with a defective pump out of the box? Is anyone else having this problem? If I had known the pump wasn't going to work, I would have saved some money and bought the unit without the pump.

So Far So Good

Hoping I get longer service from this unit. So far, works as expected. I haven't tried the auto pump feature - I manually empty the bucket when full.
