After less than a month, pump stopped working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about a month, the pump stopped working. The tank would be full and the filter reset light would blink. Pulled the filter off and it was clean, Reset the filter but had to unplug the unit to reset it so the pump would work. Giving it another month to see if the problem self corrects. When working, the unit works well reducing the humidity in the basement to around 50%.

Well done, Frigidaire!

We assumed that buying (and constantly replacing) disposable moisture absorber bags was enough to ward off growth of mold or mildew. But the exhaust fans in our bathrooms regularly needed cleaning. Taking shorter or colder showers was not an option for either of us, and there was no room to add a whole-house dehumidifier to our HVAC system. An online research for the best room dehumidifier led me to buy the Frigidaire High Humidity 50-Pint Capacity Dehumidifier. The machine is phenomenal. It is pulling an unbelievable amount (over six gallons) of water out of the air. The auto shutoff feature keeps the unit from overflowing on a daily basis. Our home is more comfortable; the exhaust fans have remained clean; and I seem to have less dust on my furniture. This retired teacher and her engineer husband both give our new Frigidaire Dehumidifier a solid A plus.

Great Features. Easy Setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this unit from Frigidaire as a replacement for a dehumidifier that failed after 2 years.
This unit was easy to set up and works very well in my large unfinished basement.
My only concern is that this is the second replacement of my original purchase in 4 years. Both units failed with the same malfunction code.
Frigidaire customer service was very easy to work with and their excellent warranty resulted in a quick replacement at no cost.

Powerful Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this dehumidifier over a month ago. I set it in my bedroom close by the bathroom. I usually turn on the humidifier after taking a shower when humidity was 60 something. I set the timer to 1 hour and the desired humidity level to 40. The humidity level went down to low 40s when timer is up, and it stops smoothly by itself. When I took out the bucket, it often surprised me how much water it really sucked in! Works great for me! By the way, I have another dehumidifier in the basement still running after 4 years. Same brand name but older model. Love both!

Great Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set it up in basement, and with the pump, water goes up into the drain. Fully automatic and works perfectly. The white finish is very nice next to washer and dryer units.
