Frigidaire quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire has been around for many years. They have kept their quality in the products and it reflects in the ratings when researching various models prior to purchase. The only drawback we have is when emptying the water container they no longer have the handle on the front. This was a great feature in helping to remove the water bucket without spills. Now they have small handles on the sides of the water container. Getting the container out without spilling is more difficult .

Puts a lot of water out every day (tank gets filled in less than 24 hours) at a setting of 50%, but it hardly runs at a setting of 55% and tank level market does not rise in 48 or more hours.

Too Lous, too expensive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously purchased the 70 pint capacity version of this product, which I would give four stars. To get five stars, it would need to truly have a quiet, low fan speed. Frigidaire discontinued that model and I now had to pay much more money for a lower capacity model, which is also much too loud on even the lowest fan speed.

Works well. Love the pump. Fan runs a lot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems to work well, bringing the humidity down in my basement even on the low setting. But the fan runs long after the humidity is down to the target level. It may be slightly larger than the GE that died on me after less than 2 years of less than heavy use. I love the pump since gravity draining isn't an option for my basement's layout. I wish they made a smaller model with a pump for another area of my house.

It can be set for continuous emptying via hose or through built in pump via tubing provided with unit or directly into bucket for later emptying when necessary.
