[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I have to say that this dehumidifier has exceed my expectations. My home is surrounded by many trees and for that reason humidity has been a big issue for a long time. Ac would definitely help to ease the problem but got into a level that even with ac at 71 degrees humidity smell was still present until I was told about dehumidifiers. This 50 pin humidifier has take care of the humidity so well that I can have my ac on higher temperature setting and do not feel any humidity smell at all. I haven't use the pump yet because I have decided to empty the bucket after certain amount of days (at the first week I was needing to empty every other day that shows you how bad humidity was). I would definitely recommend this dehumidifier to anyone that has humidity issues at home.

The good: The unit runs well. It is keeping my basement at the set point humidity and cycling on and off. It is very quiet.
The bad: The diagram and instructions for setting up the built in condensate pump do correspond to the pump connection on my dehumidifier. There is no grey tightening ring on my humidifier. I was not able to successfully attach the discharge hose so that it did not leak. Every time the pump worked there was a puddle on my basement floor. I had to drain my humidifier to an existing external condensate pump that I had. I do not recommend paying extra for the optional built-in pump.
