Looks great

Seems to be superior to that one. Very quiet, looks good and both air and water filters easy to clean. Hope it lasts !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 4th Frigidaire dehumidifier I have gotten. For what ever the reason the last two did not last very long; one less than a year and one a little more than a year. They came up with a code (I cannot remember) and just stop cooling - taking moisture out. I kept the moisture level at 50%, the basement was always about 67 degrees, and the electrical current was what it was suppose to be so I don't know what the problem is/was. When it worked it worked well. I like them and would buy again but only with the extended warranty which I used on the last two units.

Quiet unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems to be running well so far and is quiet, although the Humidity display is not very accurate. If I set it to 55 it will take humidity down to 50. Set it to 60 and takes humidity to 55. Not really a big deal, though, as long as the compressor does not lose charge after one year, like the old one did. Customer service was been helpful on the previous unit.

The Pump is a Fantastic Feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dehumidifier just before the summer heat and humidity started. It is removing over 50 pints a day which makes the pump feature invaluable. I can just set the humidity level and not worry about checking if the bucket is full. It just empties the bucket and keeps on working.

Solid Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After prior positive experiences with this line of dehumidifers, I specifically tracked down this model for the built-in pump feature, which is different from the continuous drain option. As the unit lives in the basement beside the washer and dryer, the outflow line can run straight into the washer's standpipe. Both the dehumidifier and the pump are a little noisy, but that's fine considering it's in the basement. So far it's done a good job keeping our small, unfinished basement drier than usual, even during this humid summer.
The one thing that disappointed me about this model is the timer function is not cyclical. Rather than turning itself off and on every day, this model's timer either starts the machine or turns it off up to 24 hours later, and has to be reset after each use. This is spelled out in the owner's manual, so shame on me for not reading up first, but the product listing's vague enough to feel misleading.

Waiting to use it as purchased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy with performance, my pumping dehumidifier does not pump! The registration was a breeze then I tried to call customer service multiple times and was always busy finally reached them after being on hold for 20 minutes. They offered a pump kit for my model that was 10 days ago, nothing yet.

Not good

I use it for 2 weeks and the signal ‘change filter’ is now on, although the filter is absolutely clean. Also, it does not automatically shut off when the humidity level reached

If the filter doesn’t need cleaning, simply press the filter reset button to extinguish the light.
