Great Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I bought this dehumidifier this summer. We just moved into a new home and found our basement to be incredibly muggy. It was also full of spiders, which is something spiders like apparently. It only took me 10 or 15 minutes to set up and working a few hours the basement felt noticeably cooler. It is very easy to empty, either by removing the water container or attaching a hose to the device. After the recent IDA storms, we had a little bit of flooding. We opted to use an HVAC to clean up a large pool of water, but there was some water that remained. Within half a day the basement floor was dry again with the dehumidifier. I don’t think there’s a better dehumidifier on the market at this price point.

Plug and play

After removing a few pieces of packing material, connecting and positioning the 1/4” drain hose, all I had to do was plug it in and push the start button. The unit has easy adjust settings and does what it’s designed to do. I especially like the pump feature so I don’t have to manually drain the basin.

Exactly what I needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a dehumidifier in my basement since the levels were fairly high (60-65%). After looking at several brands, I decided to go with a major brand that had several positive reviews.
Once I correctly setup the unit with the hose provided, I was able to set it and forget it - the pump worked perfectly and the humidity levels dropped to 45-50% overnight.
I am extremely happy with this dehumidifier, and I highly recommend it.

Exactly what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased two of these to control the humidity in our house and they’ve worked perfectly so far. We opted for two standing units instead of having a unit added to our HVAC and needed something with a built in pump. The pulp feature works exactly as expected and allowed me to empty one directly into our sump pump and the other info a slop sink. So easy.
