Works great and very quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace an aging 70 pint dehumidifier in my basement. I needed a model with a built-in pump to discharge the water over a wall. This model was very easy to setup, works well and is noticeably quieter than my previous dehumidifier. I would definitely recommend this model!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Frigidaire dehumidifier I purchased over the last 10 years and this one was for our new house as I left the first one behind. A third will be in our future once we extend our house into the attic. There is a huge choice for these high capacity dehumidifiers, alas so many do not live up to the promises, where this model, in my opinion under promises and over delivers - a stellar performance indeed ! Amongst many features on this model they have very cleverly engineered the fan to counteract the noise from the compressor and almost cancel it out. Very clever and so much more pleasant to hear the wooooooshing of the fans instead of the hum of the compressor. Controls a simple and straightforward and very - very clear, a solid carrying handle, casters, and filter that is easy to remove the wash through. This is a solid piece of engineering pitched at a very good purchase price. Highly recommend.

Does the job but the sound is annoying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a good job maintaining low humidity, and I like the pump, but the compressor makes a very annoying sound. If this is what high efficiency compressors sound like, they should add a ton of insulation.

High Humidity 50 Pint Capacity Dehumidifier
