[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dehumidifier to I just humidity in my condo because I've had a problem with mold. So far so good. I have not used the pump yet. I just have it setup for continuous draining by gravity to a drain.

Great features and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a cabin on the lake and the basement humidity level is very high causing mold and mildew to form. We don’t have a drain so needed a unit with a pump to pump the water into the bathtub. We also needed something that wouldn’t need a lot of attention as we are not at the cabin a lot. This unit has fit the bill perfectly. Not only was it easy to install but brought the humidity level down immediately and shuts down when the desired humidity level is reached. We ate very pleased with the unit.

Breaks and customer svc takes long time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oct 2020, ordered product via Amazon; Dec-Jan product displayed error codes and pump wouldn't empty the bucket; multiple calls to customer service, time on phone waiting, trying to troubleshoot the issue via a few phone calls, sometimes no answer (busy), long wait times (20 minutes or more) resulted in determining to replace the product...process is they email you a form to fill out, you do the steps outlined, email it back to them, with photos, etc.; that took a while to get "processed" - eventually they sent a replacement (took about 1-3 months). That one worked great, as advertised, but when I needed it the most, this summer (hot humidity), it soon leaked out of the back...restarted customer service calls, wait times, they said they'll replace it...that was first week of July - still no replacement sent. Meanwhile, I thought I'd get a 2nd product, for another floor/level of my home, for the summer - ordered it through Amazon, so I can also pay via installments (pandemic and all)...that one arrived in Jun/Jul and within 2 weeks I noticed it isn't turning on by itself (humidistat...and a separate reader I had would say about 60% humidity, but the dehumidifier would be set at 35%...and not come on, so I would have to run it in "continuous" mode - energy usage...works only in continuous mode. Contacted Frigidaire...same customer svc issues - long wait times, or busy, talked to rep, determined to send me replacement (for unit #2, brand new, Jun/Jul)...sent me email with form, I filled it out, did the steps, sent it back. Week later, no contact or replacement sent. Checked on it, they say the form doesn't have all the info...it does...they just didn't open the form (password protected, info sent via email)...rep sent it to escalation (?), get an email yesterday saying they're denying my claim/warranty since wasn't purchased at an authorized dealer. ?!?! About $300 for each dehumidifier, 3 units haven't worked properly for more than 6 months and they're declining assistance...wasting my time and money and comfort (purpose for a dehumidifier)....forcing me to now be dissatisfied, not property "serviced," and having to now start over with product and brand research, to go with another brand/company. When it worked, it was great, but that was only for less than 6 months, and hit or miss.

Working well…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about 2 weeks ago, and it seems to be working quite well. Lots of moisture removed from my basement. I emptied the bucket a few times to see how that worked, then hooked up the tubing to empty it automatically, and that’s been working without problems. Definitely a great purchase.
