[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pump drain hook up was a pain in the a.. to get the plug out. Needs a better plug arrangement. The unit seems to work ok for now. Will see in a couple of years.

Pump feature is a must!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this dehumidifier for about a month. Had it up and running in minutes. Running very efficiently. My previous one had the pump feature allowing continuous operation and automatic pumping of the water into the sink drain. Yes, it pumped the water up and out. I knew I wanted this feature in the replacement. They are difficult to find. This Frigidaire is perfect! Runs quietly and automatically quietly pumps the water out when the bucket is full. I prefer this pump feature far superior to the drain feature in most dehumidifiers. Definitely would not return to physically emptying the tank. Highly recommend.

Works well and love the pump

The only negative is the pump hose, which is difficult to connect to the humidifier. The first time I attached, I didn't realize I didn't make the connection right and dumped water on the carpet.

Solid product. Leaky pump

Working wonderfully!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dehumidifier was received and put into service 2 weeks ago and is working wonderfully. 4 stars given since it is still new, and my concern with any home dehumidifier is the short lifespan. This is my 11th unit (not all were Frigidaire) in 30 years, and they average a 2 - 4 year life expectancy. Clearly they are not made for durability / longevity. It works as expected and is keeping our unfinished basement area at the desired humidity level. I've not yet used the pump system due to a lack of time to connect the drain line to an appropriate drain pipe.

The Pump Makes The Difference!

The ability to pump the condensate into a utility sink for drainage makes all the difference between it and other models. Now I don't need to go down the steps to the basement every day to empty the dehumidifier. Perfect for me!
