Quality, ease of set up and does what its supposed to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spent several months reading all the reviews on dehumidifiers that I could find. Due to my basement configuration, I need something that could pump up. The reviews were mixed on everyone of the dehumidifiers I could find. I saw a YouTube review of the Frigidaire and with some trepidation bought it. My first impressions have been very favorable. The unit is about as noisy as a dehumidifier (they all make some noise) this one in general has a fan noise that masks most if not all of the compressor noises. I normally run it on mid fan - low if I need to talk on my phone near the unit. I have a rather large basement and it is keeping it nice and dry. A few notes - One of the reason I bought this unit is because others said the amount of water pumped left too much in the bin. In this case, the pump seems to operate well, once the water reaches a certain level it pumps it down to what I think is a very acceptable level. My water collected is clear and I have had no issues with mold or green. So, I am cleaning the unit on a once a month basis. BOTH the collection bucket and the pump filter (the first time removal you have to put some effort into turning the screw - it has the ridges on the bottom - not sure why they put that kind of screw into a slot that is supposed to be removed bi-weekly for cleaning ) So far after several months of use it is working fine, removes water efficiently and the pump has worked like a charm. I will repost with a review next year - I live up north and will shut the dehumidifier down in the fall. I read that some units do not restart - will let you know. So far though, am very happy with my purchase.

So far, a great choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had this unit for about two months, but so far it seems to be very efficient and meet the needed I had for a pump. My previous one, a Danbe, lasted for about five years. So I am hoping to get that much time out of this one as well.This unit is quieter than my first one, and pumps water very efficiently. Plus the controls are easy to operate.

Great so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good, quieter than the old one that died after 6 years of pretty much constant use. Haven't used the built in pump feature yet, just the hose drain in the back. Need to finish a small remodel before relocating unit to it's final spot to use the pump. Like the ability to access the filter without having to take the bucket out, causing the unit to go into standby like the old one did. Very quiet compressor. Overall very good, again so far. Time will tell. If it lasts as long as the old 70 pint Frigidaire it's replacing I'll call it a win.

Built in pump is awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this unit to replace an old one we had in our basement for many years that we had to manually empty 1-2 times a day during the summer months. I placed the new unit near our washing machine and ran the tubing into the washer drain and it automatically empties when it fills up! I haven't had to touch it for the last 2 months that I've owned it. I wish I would have bought this years ago!

Effective dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier instantly lowered the humidity in our 1200 sq ft basement. It runs relatively quietly. It expels warm air but as we have it in a hallway, that's not a problem. We placed the hose that comes with the dehumidifier into a utility sink but the force of the pump propelled the hose onto the floor, along with 50 pints of water. We've subsequently secured the hose into the sink and haven't had a problem since. Easy to use, attractive design.

Definitely helps with humidity and "feels like" temperature control

Our de-humidifier has been functioning as advertised for the past month and has really helped us maintain our house comfortably in spite of the hot humid Arkansas summer! We certainly appreciate it, and have had to use our central AC much less than last summer. Very pleased with our purchase!

This is my third unit after the first two failed with the FO error code. The second one last about a year. I've had this one for about a months and so far it's running fine. Time will tell. Hopefully, Frigidaire got this one right.
