Easy to Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only used this for about 3 weeks but so far so good. It was very easy to set up and hook up tubing for pump. Of course there is some noise when it turns on but it is more like a low fan noise. It doesn't bother me at all. The one feature I really like is that when the bucket fills up and you are using the pump mode all the water is emptied from the bucket. I had another dehumidifier that only removed the top 2 inches of water and therefore the bucket was always full. This works perfectly. The humidity can be set in 5% increments. Also, it is attractive and looks nice in any room

Great auto pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The auto pump out on this dehumidifier is great. The bucket doesn't stay full like my old one. It's quieter than my old one was in it's last days, but maybe not as quiet as when the old one was brand new. It sits in the unfinished basement directly below my bedroom and the noise isn't a bother. It helps keep our coastal basement dry. It looks very nice and was easy to set up.

Hard working (but short cord)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item was recommended by a reviews site I've found very accurate and helpful. I have a basement that stays mostly dry but, with recent snowmelt, had a decent puddle in a low spot. There has been a small dehumidifier that's mounted by our washer/dryer. It was working but didn't need emptied often despite a slight dampness in the air. Since we're moving more of our belongings into the basement, I wanted something a little more effective. When I set this machine up, I let it run the cycle as recommended. When I went to check on it 3 days later (as instructed), the tank was FULL! We set it to the preferred humidity level and it's trucking away. Not any louder than the machine that was already there.
My only con so far has been that the power cord is short (6') for the appliance. Since it's in a basement, our outlets are ceiling-mounted to avoid contact with water. With the basement ceiling height just beyond that, I had to be creative and put the dehumidifier on top of a storage tote. The dehumidifier is heavy, so I don't recommend this if it's too much strain. This is a temporary solution until a better one can be made with outlets. The instructions said to NOT use an extension cord, so we're limited to the short cord's range. Otherwise, great product.

Works great

Easy install & setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed in basement, runs well and reacts to modifications on the control panel. Did have a bit of leakage from the continuous drain connection - had to really tighten-up the cover and leak stopped. Haven't seen the pump start moving any water from the bucket yet - there is water yet no pumping yet. Expecting this to be a good system once the humidity level starts to creep up and dry out the basement air.
