An Excellent Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in an old farmhouse with a basement that has a stonewall foundation and a dirt floor. What they used to call a root cellar. Due to rain and the humidity of summer the freezer in the basement is always sweating and things are damp. With the new Frigidaire Dehumidifier things have changed. The basement is no longer damp, there is no condensation on the freezer and the basement is dryer. There has been a slight increase in our electric bill but the Frigidire is running constantly. However our electric bill is still reasonable. very pleased with this Frigidaire Dehumidifier.

Good Dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had the dehumidifier for one month and IS removing the amount of humidity from the space in which it is located, as I had expected. Wasn’t sure I would like the fact that the dehumidifier and fan cycle on and off but the product is dehumidifying well with this feature. Maybe it will make the dehumidifier last longer. The water bucket is a bit heavy for my wife to carry to the sink and water can spill out very easily when removing it from the dehumidifier when full. The handle on the bucket is a nice feature though. Water pump feature will come in handy if my wife and I get to the point that we can no longer carry the heavy water bucket.

It works well like my prior Frigidaire dehumidifier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought another Frigidaire dehumidifier several years ago and it is still running strong. Both units are reliable, easy to clean and extract humidity effectively from larger areas than I would have thought.
This model's three options for removing water (bucket, drain or pump) make it very flexible for placement in the best location. I empty the bucket because I use the water on outdoor plants, but the pump option is easy to turn for water disposal if I am away from the house.
My only "beef" is that the power button is less well marked than the pump button. The power button should always be prominent in my opinion.
