Poor quality

Bought this dehumidifier less than 2 yrs ago after receiving a refund for another Frigidaire dehumidifier. Keep getting an EC error code but was told a refund won't be issued for this one. Very disappointing. Rebooting the unit didn't solve the problem. Bought this unit based on positive reviews but based on our experience, would never buy another Frigidaire dehumidifier.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Didn't even last two years

When it worked, it worked very well, however it didn't last a full two years. After being on hold for 45 minutes I was told that unfortunately I didn't have the five year warranty, and was referred to a service centre near me. I called the service centre and was told they don't service dehumidifiers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love our new Frigidaire Dehumidifier, it is so easy to use and to empty. Very stylish and on wheels so it can be moved to exactly where you want it.

I bought this about a month ago and it has done a great job in reducing the humidity in our basement. The pump is a definite asset.
