Works Great..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for a theater room in my basement which is about 550 sq feet thats finished. It ram non stop for three days filling the bucket one and 1/2 times a day. Pulling the Humidity down from 69% to 42%. Now its set form high to low cycles on the hour and fills the bucket about every two days. Keep in mind that the total square ft for my basement is 1000 even though I placed it in the theater room it has dried the entire basement. All though my unit has the pump, I have not moved it to the unfinished section where the sump pump is located., so I continue to manually empty the bucket and that's not a big deal. I had read some complains about the large gravity hose drain connections in that mold would build up where the cap is located. Since I am currently manually emptying the bucket I just take a small microfiber rag and open the drain and let the hose connector empty on the rag. Takes and extra 30 seconds. If and when I move it to the sump pump crock I will just make a mental note to open the hose drain ever two weeks or I might just put a short hose on it and let it drain into the sump as well. The unit so far has done a great job. Fingers crossed on how long it last.

Efficient and Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier works better than any I’ve tried. Efficient and quiet. Lowered my basement humidity from 81% to 50% in a short time. It pumps the collected water 6 ft up to a drain without a problem. Love it!

Red "water-level" indicator a timesaver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The red indicator in the bucket "water-level" window is a welcome addition. It saves me time from pulling the bucket out to manually check the water level. It is red in color and slides up and down with the level of the water, making it easy-peasy to just glance as I walk past it! Thank you for your improvements to a fine dehumidifier Frigidaire!

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Frigidaire dehumidifier. I have had the other one for a few years in my basement. They seem to be more reliable than other brands. This was larger than I expected and takes out the moisture in my home when I am away and do not want to run the A/C. Very easy to set up, but I needed to zip tie the drain hose in place so it would not move.

New design - so far so good
on July 22, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a replacement to the older model (under warranty). So far I've been happy with this unit. It's a bit quieter than the older model (where the air outtake is on the side). I'm hoping this new unit has an overall better design too - since the prior models seemed to not last very long. I also like how this model moved the continuous drain connect to the rear and it's actually angled downward to prevent any 'backflow' leaks.

Great unit at this price point!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works like a champ in a 1,000 sq.ft. 100+ year old Philly basement, which was unbearably humid in summertime, and this dehumidifier maintains it a comfortable 40% humidity. Unit is attractive and relatively quiet (only hear it in basement, but not on first floor). Gravity drain was not an option, so I had to use the condensate pump. Complaints re: connection of condensate pump line in predecessor model have been fully addressed. Predecessor model had a lot of complaints about condensate pump longevity, and I cannot comment on this at 2 month....fingers crossed this has been improved!

Great unit, ... if only!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first bought this unit in July 2018. Since then, I am on my third unit for code "FO". Each unit ran really well for about 8-9 months before failing. To their credit, I have had no issue with replacement; but, really, three units in the two yer warranty period? They need to change their source for the control board. As long as the unit runs, it is perfect for my situation. So, to paraphrase the nursery rhyme, "... When it is good it is very, very good: but when it is bad, it is horrid!" Here's hoping the latest one will last.
