Works great and I love the design for drainage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an old Frigidaire Dehumidifier that worked great for many years but recently quit so I ordered this one. It also works great but the redesign on the hose drainage and the addition of a pump to remove water from the tank is a great advancement. Great job!

I would have given this product a 5 rating, but the handle on the container for emptying water comes off on one side. I am sure it will eventually break with the heaviness of the water.

The dehumidifier is another good one, but the handle for the container that collects the water is not secure. I believe it will eventually break off

Very early on but so far so good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this to replace my 70 pint frigidaire dehumidifier that worked non stop for 10 years in my basement. It started icing over but there's no affordable way to responsibly tap into the system to capture, leak test, and refill as everything still works. It likely just has a tiny leak that took 10 years to drop.
I was nervous reading all the reviews of the new ones with cheap thin walled copper and poor manufacturing processes resulting in leaking evaporators and condensors so I got an extended warranty from elsewhere. The unit is the same size as the old one and while its only a 50 pint, it seems to dry things out as quickly. Its a bit quieter and has a drain pump which is convenient. However its pumping through a 1/4 OD line and it takes 15 minutes to drain the tank. It seems to run more frequently than the old one but I do have it set for lower humidity. Only time will tell if this suffers early mortality
