2nd GE Profile Hood.

This is the second GE Profile 36” Hood I purchased since 3/22/2022. The first stopped working, light and fan, on Memorial Day Weekend, 2025. I purchased the second one in July and installed 8/1/2025. It stopped working 8/4. I’m waiting for a phone call back to see what from vendor to do next. I purchased all brand new GE kitchen appliances when we remodeled and wanted to keep the same look. Not sure what the third one will be, depends on the warrant GE provides
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor product ---Controls stopped working

The button stopped working as soon as the 2 year warranty expired. Seems as if the product is made to last for the given warranty period only. The unit is made in such a way that there is no way to do even a basic clean up. GE needs to build better products. It is going to cost us to get someone come in to fix something that I think could be done with a better built unit. We can not even access the buttons that stopped working.
