Good appliance, out of box defect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PRFS2883AF refrigerator. I bought this as a replacement for a Samsung fridge that continually had ice maker freeze up issues. So far so good with this fridge. Right out of the box the unit was continually beeping. I could also see the control display light up when the beep occured. It cooled properly and the ice makers functioned well. So there were no issues there. It just seemed like this was a cycling door open chime. Repair was just here today with a new controller board and so far it has addressed the beeping issue. I'd give it five stars if not for the out of box beeping issue. For the cost of this fridge, I'd expect it to work with no issues out of the box. Appears to be a final test escape. The repair was covered by warranty, so other than the inconvenience of constant beeping for a couple weeks, that was good. Again, a little disturbing to have this occur on a brand new fridge and brings long term reliability into question.

Nice fridge. Big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge is very nice although when you open the bottom freezer drawer it sounds like a freight train. Its not smooth. The ice maker and water dispenser is one of my favorite features. Its way nice then my old frodgidare I replaced. I did want it in the charcoal color but they said it onmy cane in stainless, im not a fan. It does look good in my kitchen though. Cools nice. The lunch meat tray is great. The veggie drawers seem to keep my veggies fresh after a week. All in all im pleased except for the freezer drawer not sliding smooth and the color and only one option. so I took 1 star off.

Love my new Frigidaire refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s different from what I had for 20 years for sure. I had a side by side which has a lot of room but the freezer is always junky it seemed. Hard to get things out without pulling a whole rack out at a time. I also liked the double ice maker for family gatherings. Pretty sweet

We like most features but there are a couple of things we are missing that were in our last refrigerator: larger storage on the doors - the bins for milk cartons, juice, etc. for larger containers is skimpy; we are also missing the bottom freezer door self-closing.
