A good replacement for a defective fridge from another manufacturer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When doing a research online to replace a defective fridge I was surprised to see Frigidaire mention about filtered ice feature. After measuring our area found that standard depth would be useful for our space and capacity on the top area. Sometimes this fridge is noisy but it’s been doing its job. It wud be helpful to know that drip pan near water filter is not included. That’s cause some leaks on the floor nearby.

Big on the outside, lacking huge space on the inside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a very nice looking dual fridge, and has a large footprint. That size unfortunately doesn’t translate into huge cold storage at the fridge or the freezer. It’s not terrible by any means but is less than it would seem. Also, the door ice mechanism does not work; it turns but there is no actual ice made in the freezer compartment. Out of the box problems… a little frustrating.

Ice dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about 2 months still loving this refrigerator. Relatively quiet, spacious and the double ice-maker rocks. At first, I was torn between this one and a Bosch but the Bosch build seemed flimsy so I purchased this one. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Electrolux-Frigidaire!!!!

The inside mounted icemaker is preferred as compared to door mounted like most other manufacturers due to the frequent freezing together and jamming of ice cubes with the door mounted units. The exterior finish seems to clean and stay clean much better than our previous less expensive Whirlpool model.

Ice water dispenser needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Water dispenser is slow. Takes forever to fill up water bottle and dispense ice. One ice cube comes out every 4 seconds sometimes longer. The dispenser pressure pad needs to be higher so a glass/water bottle can be held up closer to the opening to prevent ice from splattering and dropping onto the floor.
