The water filter is stuck

Unable to remove and replace the water filter. The filter does not 'pop' out.

For this model, the water filter is designed to twist and unlock rather than pop out. Here’s a quick tip to help:

Turn the filter counterclockwise about a quarter turn until it releases.

Gently pull it straight out once it’s unlocked.

If the filter still feels stuck, it might help to apply a little extra grip or consult the user manual for step-by-step instructions. Quality control issues!!

I’m very disappointed in the quality of this fridge. We expected much better when investing in Frigidaire’s professional series. The doors are poorly aligned, with parts rubbing against each other that shouldn’t. The freezer door is especially bad, the left side seems fine, but the right side is uneven, sticks out noticeably, and prevents us from opening our pantry drawers. For a “top-of-the-line” model, the overall build feels careless and poorly executed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Never Ending Beeping Fridge - literally.

We bought this fridge to replace another brand that had died after 4 years. We love the look of it and the features. We hate how the control panel has beeped every two minutes for almost TWO MONTHS SINCE THE DAY WE PLUGGED IT IN! Two times, we've had Frigidaire repair people out to service it. The first one quoted 6 to 8 weeks for the part. The second repair guy as quoted us 2 weeks for the part. We're still waiting. The service is horrible. All for something that never worked in the first place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Functional and spacious

Happy with our fridge! Still so much room with being counter depth, and everyone in the family loves the water dispenser. The water filter has improved our water quality, far more than what we expected.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excited but not

Got our new fridge and started the unpack of it there is a sticker that advertises to sign up for a water filter replacement it was in a noticeable location but would not peel off easily took about 15 minutes to carefully scrap it off. What a discouraging way to start using a new appliance NB all the other stickers peeled off easily I would recommend but that sticker was a downer
