Quiet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the first two days of ownership I checked frequently to make sure the sleek new refrigerator was running! Our former refrigerator was unbelievably noisy from the very first day. The manual explained that all of the noises were just the refrigerator doing its job, but the Frigidaire is a very quiet worker.
This refrigerator is the same size as our former, but seems to have more room. There are TWO ice makers, one on the front for handy use to dispense ice water and another one in the freezer. This second is dual use, either a part of your freezer or with the switch of a toggle will begin making ice for that occasion when you would like to fill an ice chest or company coming. There is a separate drawer for meats and deli, temperature controlled, and a small but important item - the water filter is easily accessible.
We are delighted with our new purchase.

Great product with one huge failing

In particular the Crispers are outstanding compared to my last fridge a GE. One glaring problem however. No operating instructions or tips on use. It’s an unbelievable flaw in the ownership experience. I have no idea how to adjust or shut off the lower ice maker. You put this much work into a product and fall on your sword at the point of contact with the customer.

Great fitting fridge!

Cheap metal finish?!!

I'm so upset. I spent months visiting stores and reviewing fridges for our new house. I was trying to find one that had all of the features I was looking such as two ice makers and water in the outside and one that would allow for the doors to open all of the way without hitting the sides of the cabinet. I also wanted one that had reasonably high reviews. Finally I was searching for a fridge that had the nice round handles that matched the rest of our appliances. I was so happy when I stumbled on this one and it fit every requirement on my list and had relatively good reviews. When it was delivered, not only were there a couple of dings in two places, there were also weird large depressions in the metal that are quite obvious in bright light. The installer put a level up to it and sure enough, there were slight depressions. I was prepared to replace this with the exact model but then my husband went searching and this is apparently a common issue with the Professional line of fridges and if we order another one chances are high it will have the same issue and the store mentioned they would not consider it returnable for the wavy metal issue, only dings. So now I have to search again and decide what I want to compromise on. I'm really disappointed because it looks like the issue is a manufacturing defect caused by thin steel. Sadly the cheaper lines look like they are made with better metal but don't have the look I was really wanting. I would love to try getting a second one but can't risk it having the same issue. Really disappointed.
