This is a very nice unit that has an outstanding display that is easy to read, however, it is difficult to view at an angle - full-on viewing is recommended. It is accurate and has a lot of data in the display. We have many AcuRite products and we love them; with the exception of the dual alarm clock - the one we purchased originally was replaced under warranty and eventually that one died so we purchased another only to have that one die as well (outside of the warranty period, of course). It's a shame because it was a terrific clock with loads of info and very simple to use.

This is the second Accu rite weather monitor I have bought and on both of them, when the screen is plum or leaning back, the characters disappear pretty quickly due to screen angle. I have had to rig the screen on both to lean forward in order to be readable. I am quite sure that this is a very common complaint.

I use this weather display to monitor indoor/outdoor temperatures and relative humidity. It has a bright, hi-definition display in color that looks beautiful. I love the fact that I can plug it in and save on batteries for the main unit. And, it is accurate and easy to set up.

I like the color display, but it lacks some of the features that I had on the cheaper B&W Acurite model. YOU have to set the time and date, it's not automatic. High/Low daily temps don't display automatically, you have to press a button. But this is good if you want to go back several days.
