We love this weather station, I have been a fan of AcuRite for many years. I do wish the screen was easier to read, dark background dark numbers cannot be read from more than a few feet away
Reason for low stars is inability to have unit connect to in home internet.

After connecting then lost it,I spent many attempts over the next two days no success. Still don't know what happened but the server wouldn't let me in. Finally I tried the chrome browser on my desktop and got connected. I will revise my review the 5-1 iris is great however 4stars is for complicated web, and no phone really I'm 72 texting sucks.
I was unable to connect the WiFi, as the tech was unfamiliar with Apple products. I was unable to find the Mac equivalents to the dos locations she was directing me to. I am sure it is relatively simple, as I do have several applications connected to my Wifi network. Maybe after the holiday you can have someone contact me who is familiar with Apple and get me set up. (The Tech was very pleasant and really did try to help me) Thanks Gordon
