The display has nice large numbers for outside temp. Nothing else is readable from more than eight feet away. Add to that these are displayed on a black background, it's even worse. I had a previous 5-in-1 with a much better display. You need much larger numbers (less blank space), and a much higher contrast and brighter display (I have it set on brightest mode).
This is my second station so I love AcuRite. I am still having problems getting accurate temperature readings when in direct sunlight. Issue on both stations. Also directions for connecting Direct-to Wi-Fi are absolutely horrible. Had to have assistance getting it to work. Very big hassle.
My son got this for his 10th birthday, and he loves it so much!!

I have had the weather station for about 3 years. The temperature reading can be way off. The sensor is in the unit and in the sun it will heat up much higher than what the temperature should be. I know this because I have an Acurite temperature sensor that is placed in the shade. The batteries are new in the unit so that is not the problem.
Easy to set up and was purchased to replace older model I had for over 13 years. My old display synced with this so I have two now one upstairs and downstairs..
This is my 3rd unit from AcuRite. It is replacing a 2 year old unit that was working great until I had a power outage and then a power surge. Have been happy with all my units. Would highly recommend.
