I like the Wi-Fi, because I can see the weather at my home when I'm out on the road. It was very easy set up. I did get tripped up a little on settings with the Wi-Fi. Once I figure what the instructions where telling me, it was easy sailing from there.

Great unit but.........

I bought this unit 2 years ago. It lasted about 18 months and then the wind direction indicator seized. Now in fairness I live fairly close to the ocean but it rusted solid. It's mounted about 60' from the high tide line and 25' up the pole. The kicker was the temperature unit also stopped at its default mode of -40c even when we had our recent heat wave. The indoor monitor works fine. I'm buying another one because I do like being able to see what the weather is doing at my home no matter where I am in the world. I just accept that I need to replace it every couple of years. :( They're still the best deal for the $ out there.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Coloring and ligh intensity of the wind speed numbers make it very hard to read all other numbers on display are very readable

We love this weather station, I have been a fan of AcuRite for many years. I do wish the screen was easier to read, dark background dark numbers cannot be read from more than a few feet away
