Purchased this to replace the original senor which failed over time. I like the fact that I can use both receivers and now have an extra one in the bedroom. The WiFi and Accurite App is a very nice addition as I can check remotely and recall old data. Nice unit.

I have AcuRite weather station at two different properties. I've had older models that were working perfectly but I replaced them with wifi capable units and couldn't be happier. One of the new units had a problem with the humidity sensor, so I emailed the Customer Service. I got a reply within the hour, and after a short troubleshooting session, AcuRite shipped me a replacement unit. Outstanding customer service, and support! This is a company that stands behind their product!

Can't take the Texas Gulf Coast!

I have owned at least 4 of the AcuRite 5-in-1 weather stations. All 3 units that I have placed into service in Port Isabel, TX have failed after approximately 3 years each. The wind direction vane will typically seize up first, followed by the anemometer seizing up. Until AcuRite can build a unit to withstand the Texas LOWER Gulf Coast (think SpaceX Boca Chica) I do not recommend this product. My 1 unit in Pasadena, TX works find.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
