I have had a 5-1 station for 5 years on my cabin, and l love it. Two years ago we got fiber optic service, and I have been wanting wifi badly, as well as a way to use battery power. Thanks Ron
I have owned the AcuRite Iris (5-in-1) for a few weeks now. The most important feature for us is the rain gauge which we use for gardening (got tired of the glass tubes freezing and breaking). I have found it to be extremely accurate when using the New York State Mesonet weather stations as reference devices. When I first installed it, the temp was off compared to Mesonet and also an AcuRite thermometer that is setup with the sensor in a stevenson screen located in the shade for accuracy. However, the Iris is designed to allow me to calibrate it which made it unbelievably accurate. I also love the "My AcuRite" app on the phone and Web for remote data access. Great job AcuRite!
Set-up easy, seems well built. Have used AcuRite for years and they're my go-to weather stations. Wifi hookup was a little tricky for me, but I am not of the tech generation and did get it operational!
Purchased this to replace the original senor which failed over time. I like the fact that I can use both receivers and now have an extra one in the bedroom. The WiFi and Accurite App is a very nice addition as I can check remotely and recall old data. Nice unit.
