I've just purchased my 3rd bundled setup with the internal wi-fi as a gift for my daughter's new home. Acurite weather stations have been a quality lasting product for our home and RV.

This is the second unit I have owned. Great product. On the new unit, just can't get it to work with WiFi. Other issue, can the rain readings be edited? We had 30 MPH winds, blowing snow for about 14 hours. Says we had over 20 inches of rain !! My station is about 14 feet in the air.

The wind is dark rust and small when single digits on a black background and hard to see. Some kind of update is needed to make the wind more visible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Use the project daily on our construction site to accurately measure the rainfall during the rainy season. What's great about AcuRite is how easy it is to set up. I think the only difficulty can be setting up the Wi-Fi on the tablet, but once you understand the process it becomes very simple and easy.
