This is my 3rd AcuRite weather station. The first I left at the house I sold for the new owners. It had functioned well for many years. When I bought my second AcuRite for my new house, I was very disappointed to find out the myAcuRite app could not be used with it. Very disheartening that this was not readily mentioned on the order site. Finally, after a year of frustration, I ordered a new model, and confirmed that it was compatible with the MyAcurite app, and was very pleased. The dissatisfaction comes in after I ordered 2 additional sensors (like I had on my original), only to find my new weather station is not compatible with adding additional sensors. It took me an hour of research (after a couple of hours trying to install them) to find this out. In all fairness, AcuRite needs to provide a list of what is and what is not compatible with each bundle. Now I'm stuck for a couple of years with the inability to add additional sensors.
It is great, one big flaw for our area, living in an a climate with snow, once it snows, the wind gage does not work, would be nice to have a self warming feature so the snow melts.
I've had an AcuRite weather station for about 10 years. Great products and excellent support!

Direct to WiFi Display will not stay connected to router.

I love Acurite, truly. But this Direct to WiFi Display will not stay connected to my router for more than 30 minutes. Support is limited to email only, which is a brutal way to resolve issues. I have read about similar issues in the ratings area. The IRIS sensor is functioning exceptionally well, so I can see local info, but only on the display. I see that newer models have an antenna that may improve connectivity (my display is 8' from my router), but I have little confidence that I can get this product to perform any internet related functions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I always wanted something better that my old indoor outdoor temperature gauge. This fits the bill perfectly for me. Easy install if you don't count climbing a ladder to the peak of the roof. I hooked it up to my WiFi and with the app can check it anywhere.
I purchased this so I could use the 7 in 1 (Atlas) display with the 5 in 1 sensor. They are incompatible. Since I bought the 7 in 1 sensor it displayed wind an order of magnitude too high.
