New Iris is replacing a 13 year old 5 in 1. I like the layout of the new display. I did get the remote battery pack this time. Hope it lasts as long as the old one!

So far, all is good, and I love it, love it, love it!! This is my third AcuRite, my first being Weather Forecaster, model # 01098CDI bought in 2012 which is still chugging along and doing a great job!! The second is Professional Weather Center, model #'s 01502 / 01514 purchased in Dec. 2014. The sensor died in October 2022. At the time (this Oct), not knowing if the sensor or the display had stopped working, I ordered both the sensor # 06014 and the display # 06096 together. After the easy set-up, the new sensor is doing just fine, and as a bonus both displays (old and new) connected to it and are up and running so I am thrilled!! Thanks for a great product!

Hey it works I think the wind gauge is more accurate in this one picks up wind gusts better. Ordered this because the temp gauge went bad in the old one- I think the fan quite working only accurate at night or cloudy day. I liked the old b/w displays better, we had 2, glad they work with the new unit. jfo

This is my second unit. First unit crashed in a very high wind in mid January. I have not installed this second unit as we are not home until April. Unit was mounted to a wood poll. I will mount the new unit to a metal pipe in hopes it will never come crashing down.
