This is my second unit. The first lasted 5 years, but stopped measuring wind and precipitation. Upon replacing it, I discovered that birds had clogged several parts. This one is working better than ever.

New Weather Station Compatible With Old Display

I bought this weather station to replace an 8-year old unit that was damaged during a hail storm (wind speed propeller broken and solar panel cracked). I appreciate that I could purchase replacement parts for the old station, but wanted the newer model and thought it would be nice to have a second color display. The old display still works and I was able to sync it with the new weather station. The new color display went to my upstairs bedroom, so I can check on the weather before dressing. I wish the display back light could be turned off so it doesn't light up my bedroom at night... but a folded handkerchief covers the display well enough. Otherwise very happy to have my weather station back up. Thanks!
