This is our third AcuRite weather station. It replaces the one we bought in 2007, which survived 15 years of upstate NY cold and wind. Great product. Very easy to set up.

I have several prior purchases of the same model which work well, but this display requires a correct angle to see precisely. Also some of the display icons are not intuitive. All of this is not a big problem.

I had issues with this unit re: temp. reading. The unit worked well up until -9 degrees, then the minus went away and would not read neg. anymore so at -33 degrees the temp. read was just 33. I took a photo and tried to send it, but I guess I'm just too old to figure that out. I guess I will just live with it, but I don't like it.

I use it for general weather information and to stay up to date on changing conditions! Did I misread or can I add lightning detection to my existing unit? After I received and installed my unit, I bought two more and gave them to my two sons!

This is the 3rd AcuRite Weather Station that I have purchased from you. They have all performed great and only had one issue with the last one. No biggie. Prices are great and stations are easy to put up and connect with the Color Display. I would recommend AcuRite to everyone who is looking for a weather station.
