I got my 1st 5-in-1 Weather Station with a Display about 25-years ago. Unfortunately, the Sensor Package needs to be replaced about every 5 to 6 years due to one or more of the Sensors failing from Sun/Weather exposure, but I am still using the Original Display from so many years ago. There is a Sensor Package Refurbishment Kit or just a Replacement Sensor Package available but usually there is a Sensor plus Display package On-Sale for less than just a Replacement Sensor or Sensor Refurbishment Kit. Over the years, I have added BOTH a Wi-Fi Display with Connection to WeatherUnderground and a Display with My AcuRite Smartphone App connection. It is really nice to be able to travel practically anywhere in the world and as long as I have Cellphone, Wi-Fi or other Internet Connection, I can check the Weather in my Backyard Garden. I now have High Definition Displays at my Front Door, Back Door and Master Bedroom. Small Monochrome Displays are often On Sale so cheap that they are practically FREE, so I have those in My Garage and detached Workshop, and I have given one to each on my Next Door Neighbors.
Loving the moniter and the weather station! Only recommendation is to put the screws for the weather station itself somewhere else instead of in the battery area. I went and bought additional screws before realizing y'all supplied screws
Bought this as our 1st gen got broken on our move. Display is nice. I liked the other with no power cord and plain display. Husband likes new one! I would buy again if necessary. Other worked just fine until it got broken.
It does not register the wind correctly. Wind can be blowing fairly hard and it will have a very low number and we have it in a great spot for it to be able to read the wind. Any help you can give on this would be great otherwise I don't think it's a great product for wind and that's why I got it for my husband.
